Siliguri, 30th May: To meet the blood crisis in the pandemic situation, a blood donation camp was organized at Siliguri College more on behalf of the College Para Defence Party and with the assistance of Siliguri Terai Lions Blood Bank.
Reportedly, the blood donation camp started at 10 am today. Several women also came forward to donate blood today.
SMC administrator Goutam Deb and Darjeeling district Trinamool Congress Yuva President Kuntal Roy were present at the camp.
Defense Party president Bikash Saha said that such camps are held every year. In the current situation, the country is witnessing a blood crisis. Hence, such an initiative was taken. The collected blood will be sent to Terai Lions Blood Bank.
