BJP’s Digital raths to arrive in every assembly constituencies: Rathindra Bose

Siliguri, 27 February: The EC announced the polling dates of the much-awaited assembly elections in four states and one Union Territory on Friday. Polling will be held on April 17 in Darjeeling, Kalimpong, and Jalpaiguri district.


In the wake of the ongoing pandemic, the EC restricted door-to-door campaigning to five persons including the candidate. Therefore, the Bharatiya Janata Party has come up with a unique approach for campaigning this time.

Addressing a press conference, BJP State General Secretary Rathindra Bose stated that earlier Prime Minister Narendra Modi asserted that BJP will work for a ‘Sonar Bangla’ which will strengthen Bengal’s history and culture.


In view of this, National President JP Nadda launched Lokkho Sonar Bangla (Aim for Sonar Bangla) campaign in Kolkata. LED raths (vehicles) will send out in each assembly constituencies in the state which will be carrying boxes where people can drop their suggestions.
