Jalpaiguri, 02nd March: Jalpaiguri Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) staged a rally demanding reduction of electricity tariff rates, protection of women, and employment. The rally toured various parts of the city under the leadership of Jalpaiguri BJYM District President Palen Ghosh.
Addressing the media, Palen Ghosh said that West Bengal has the highest electricity tariff rates. Besides, crimes against women and the unemployment of youths are increasing at an alarming rate. Hence, the BJYM workers staged a state-wide protest. He is hopeful that in the upcoming assembly elections, BJP will win in every constituency of Jalpaiguri.
