BJP State General Secretary met BJP activists before they were produced in Siliguri court

Siliguri, 16th February: On Saturday, the police had lodged an FIR against six Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) youth activists who had gathered to submit a memorandum to the Traffic ADCP. Later in the evening, the Pradhan Nagar Police held two activists and brought them to Bagdogra Police Station.


The BJP State General Secretary Rathindra Bose met the arrested activists at Bagdogra Police Station today. The duo informed Bose that they were protesting in support of various demands when the police lodged the complaint against them under the charge of initiating political conspiracy.


The duo was produced in the Siliguri court today. According to the Pradhan Nagar Police Station, both BJP workers have been booked under IPS Section 143/341/186/353/332. The party supporters raised strong demands for the release of the arrested BJP youths during the Siliguri court proceeding.
