Siliguri, 04th December: The indoor stadium of Siliguri has been shut down for a long time. The BJP has taken to the streets demanding the development of the infrastructure of the said stadium.
On Sunday morning, BJP leaders took part in a silent protest program in front of the indoor stadium carrying placards questioning the role of Siliguri Municipal Corporation. During this, Siliguri MLA Shankar Ghosh and other BJP leaders and workers were present.
In this regard, Shankar Ghosh said that earlier there was an arrangement for the practice of table tennis in the indoor stadium, but since the time of the pandemic, no kind of sport is being played. The indoor stadium is completely shut and stating this he demanded that the indoor stadium should be re-opened as before.
