BJP MP Jayanta Roy took a jibe at state govt over the 100-day work project

Siliguri, 08 January: During a press conference at the Mallaguri party office on Saturday, Jalpaiguri District BJP MP Dr Jayanta Roy alleged that politics is being carried out in the state regarding the 100-day work.

He accused the state government of only providing the 100-day work to the Trinamool supporters. He further added that the actual needy families are not receiving any compensation.

At present, under 100 days of work in Bengal, per worker is being paid from Re 1 to Rs 33. Roy stated that in the financial years 18-19 and 19-20, it was decided to provide Rs 191 per worker. Later, in 20-21, the amount was fixed at Rs 213 per worker. This figure was determined by the CPI index. Yet in West Bengal, the scenario is very different.
