Siliguri, 03rd October: The Bharatiya Janata Party took out a rally in support of the Farm Bill in Siliguri. Several district leaders, including BJP state secretary Raju Banerjee, were present in the rally which commenced from The rally was taken out from the Baghajatin Park and concluded in Mallaguri.
Addressing the media, Raju Banerjee accused the oppositions of misunderstanding the people regarding the said bill. He took a jibe at the Trinamool saying that the party is opposing the Farm Bill as it completely eliminates the practice of cut money.
Likewise, Siliguri Organizational BJP President Praveen Agarwal accused the oppositions of misleading the common people regarding various bills in the past too. With this, he claimed to spread as much awareness as possible regarding the benefits of the bill among the people.
