Siliguri, 17th April: A central jawan stopped Siliguri assembly BJP candidate Shankar Ghosh from entering Booth No. 161 in Siliguri Tikiapara. After Ghosh informed the observer about the issue, he was allowed to enter with administrative intervention.
According to the rules of the Election Commission, any candidate can enter the polling station. In this regard, Ghosh stated that many people are unaware of this rule. He claimed that he was stopped at various places today since morning. The matter has also been informed to the observer.
On the other hand, a polling personnel stopped Shankar Ghosh from entering the booth center at Siliguri Boys High School.
