Jalpaiguri, 03rd March: The Jalpaiguri Kotwali police arrested 2 men, identified as Mintu Roy and Amar Roy, under the charge of looting a betel-nut laden truck in the Jaldapara forests on February 27.
As per the report, the accused physically harassed the vehicle driver and dumped him inside the jungle assuming him dead. The duo then escaped with the betel-nut laden truck.
Based on the allegations, the police launched an investigation and arrested the two accused from the Malkani area on Monday night.
