Darjeeling, 29th June: The results of the Gorkhaland Territorial Administration election have been declared in the hills. As per the information, Anit Thapa-led Bharatiya Gorkha Prajatantrik Morcha (BGPM) won the poll by securing 27 seats out of the total 45 seats.
Meanwhile, Ajoy Edward-led Hamro Party won 08 seats, Trinamool Congress won 05 seats and Independent candidates won 5 seats. After the declaration of the results, supporters of BGPM were spotted celebrating in full swing.
