Siliguri, 08th October: BJP state president Samik Bhattacharya on Thursday targeted former West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee while speaking to reporters at the BJP’s district office in Mallaguri, Siliguri.
Bhattacharya claimed that there was no possibility of a change in power in West Bengal or at the Centre for the next 20 years. Referring to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he said that it was not possible to remove him from power.
Taking a dig at Mamata Banerjee, Bhattacharya said she had still not been able to accept that she was no longer the Chief Minister and needed some time to rest.
Targeting the INDIA bloc, Bhattacharya said political equations do not change merely by forming an alliance. He also claimed that the BJP would become stronger in West Bengal in the coming years.
