Rajganj, 21st September: On Thursday, Sandip Dutta, the Officer in Charge (OC) of Ambari Police Outpost, accompanied by other policemen extended assistance to the family of the deceased vegetable vendor, Dulal Acharya, who lost his life in a road accident.
As per reports, the police provided the family with groceries and other necessary items including financial aid. In addition, the family was also assured of further assistance in the future.
It has to be noted that, on Tuesday night, vegetable vendor Dulal, a resident of the Business Colony of Ambari under Rajganj block, lost his life in a road accident on the Sahudangi-Ambari State Highway. The incident left his elderly mother distraught after losing the sole breadwinner of the family.
In this regard, the sister of the deceased vegetable vendor stated that today the cops of Ambari Police Outpost arrived and provided them with assistance. He added that the aid was beneficial during their moments of distress.
