Siliguri, 20th September: After the arrest of Subiresh Bhattacharya, former chairperson of SSC and Vice-Chancellor of North Bengal University in connection to the SSC recruitment case, BJP protested in front of the gate of North Bengal University today.
Reportedly, after the arrest of the Vice-Chancellor, on Monday night, BJP leaders and activists raised their voices against burning the documents. They protested in front-gate demanding the resignation of the Vice-Chancellor at the earliest.
In this regard, BJP Yuva Morcha President Arijit Das said that North Bengal is being repeatedly deprived and corrupt people are being sent to the region. He also demanded the arrest of university staff who were involved in burning the documents.
