Accident kills one in Kumarganj

Kumargram,12th January: Sensation prevailed after a man, identified as Kuldeep Basfore, a resident of Dhowlajhora tea garden, died after being hit by a truck on Sunday afternoon. The incident occurred in the Telipara Chowpatty area under the Kumargram block.
According to local and police sources, Kuldeep was crossing the 31C National Highway on his motorcycle this afternoon during which a speeding truck lost control and collided with his vehicle. Kuldeep received severe head injuries and died on the spot.
Meanwhile, a huge tension spread in the area after the incident. However, after the intervention of the police, the situation came under control. The police sent the body for an autopsy and are further investigating the matter.
