Alipurduar, 01st September: On August 28, 51 SSB jawans started their bicycle journey from Guwahati to Delhi to celebrate the Independence of India. On Wednesday morning, the team reached Barbisha in the Alipurduar district. The 34th Battalion of SSB welcomed them upon their arrival.
SSB also organized a cultural event at a private resort in Barbisha to encourage the jawans. Local school students performed patriotic music and dance. The jawans then left for Delhi on bicycles.
