Dhupguri, 24th February: Sensation prevailed after a person, identified as Dilip Das (40) was electrocuted to death at the Rabindrapally area in Ward No. 13, Dhupguri. Reportedly, Das was a mason by profession.
It was reported that this morning, Das was electrocuted to death while trying to connect his residence’s water pump with the Kumlai river. The electric wire used to build the connection electrocuted him on the spot and he fell into the river.
Meanwhile, upon receiving the news, the Dhupguri police reached the spot, recovered the body from the Kumlai river and sent it for an autopsy.
