2021 Bengal assembly elections: Its Mamata Banerjee versus Suvendu Adhikari in Nandigram

Suvendu Adhikari, once seen as a lieutenant to Mamata Banerjee, is all set to fight Bengal elections against her from Nandigram on a BJP ticket.


Addressing a press conference today, BJP General Secretary Arun Singh announced the names of 57 candidates for the assembly elections out of which 6 candidates were given to women. 1 seat has been given to All Jharkhand Students Union.

The TMC supremo Mamata Banarjee had earlier announced her candidature from Nandigram, ditching her traditional Bhowanipore in Kolkata.
