Rajganj, 17th August: Bhumika Roy (19), a resident of Magarshova village in Majhiyali gram panchayat of Rajganj, has been missing for the past nine days.
Bhumika’s father said that their daughter stepped out of the house on August 09 morning saying that she was going to Siliguri. But she did not return home since then. Her mobile phone has also been switched off. The family approached the police and lodged a written complaint at the Rajganj police station.
Although nine days have passed since the incident, no clue has been found about the whereabouts of Bhumika. Her family fears that she might have become a victim of trafficking.
