Siliguri, 14th April: The number of COVID-19 cases in the Darjeeling district has been increasing. In the last 24 hours, 109 people have been newly infected with the virus.
51 people from some wards of Darjeeling district, 3 from Darjeeling municipality. 4 from Sukna, 1 from Bijanbari, 3 from Takda, 24 from Kharibari, 2 from Kharibari, 19 in Naxalbari, and 2 in Phansidewa were infected with COVID-19.
Meanwhile, 90 people have been infected with the virus in the SMC area including Darjeeling and Jalpaiguri districts.
