Siliguri, 15th February: The application camp for the Yuva Sathi scheme has begun in Siliguri, drawing large numbers of young men and women on the first day. Following the model of the state government’s ‘Duare Sarkar’ initiative, special camps have been organized across all 294 assembly constituencies.
In Siliguri, the camp is being held at Baghajatin Park and will continue until 26th February. Mayor Gautam Deb inspected the camp to review arrangements and interact with applicants.
Under the scheme, selected applicants will receive a monthly financial assistance of ₹1,500. Applicants must be permanent residents of West Bengal, with a minimum educational qualification of Madhyamik, and aged between 21 and 40 years.
