Siliguri, 23rd December: A group of volunteers from the Youth Foundation has stepped forward to help a 32-year-old Siliguri resident, Rajesh Namodas, who is suffering from a rare and complex neurological disorder.
Rajesh, a resident of the Dhakeshwari Temple area near Eastern Bypass, has been seeking treatment from multiple doctors without significant improvement. He earns a living by selling fish and supports his family, which includes his father, mother, wife, and two young daughters.
Due to his illness, managing household expenses and medical treatment has become extremely challenging.
The Youth Foundation has announced that Rajesh will be sent for advanced medical treatment outside the city, and financial assistance will also be provided for his care.
Local residents have lauded the humanitarian efforts of the organisation, giving hope to Rajesh and his family during this difficult time.
