Fulbari, 27th November: The hanging body of a youth was found at a cow shed in Chaturagach area of Fulbari, creating widespread shock in the locality.
The deceased has been identified as Buddha Rai (25), a resident of Darjeeling. He had been working at the cow shed in Chaturagach under Fulbari II Gram Panchayat for a long time.
According to local sources, another employee of the cow shed discovered the youth hanging in his room on Thursday morning and informed the police.
NJP Police quickly reached the spot, recovered the body, and sent it to North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH) for post-mortem.
Locals said that although the youth lived with his family for some time, he had been staying alone in the cow shed room for several days. NJP Police have launched an investigation into the incident.
