Workers stage protest demanding the re-opening of closed Red Bank Tea Garden

Dooars, 27th January: The workers of the closed Red Bank Tea Garden, staged a protest on the National Highway demanding the closed Red Bank Tea Garden be reopened. The workers have also demanded that the forest-covered tea garden be cleared so that the workers are protected from wild animal attacks. Meanwhile, discussions are being held between the administration and the workers.
