Rajganj, 10th January: On Wednesday, the women of the Swanirbhar Samuha organization took out a rally to spread awareness on ending gender discrimination and gender-based violence. The rally commenced from Kamarvita of Ambari in Rajganj block under the initiative of Binnaguri Mahila Milan Bhumukhi Pratmik Sandh Sahakari Samiti.
As per reports, the rally circumambulated around various places of Ambari. The members of the organization spread awareness revolving around various social issues including female foeticide, the decline in the level of education, child marriage, underage pregnancy, sexual exploitation, and gambling.
In this regard, Tanima Rai, a member of the organization, stated that several workshops and awareness programs have been organized across the district intending to end gender-based violence across the city.
