Siliguri, 25th January: A distressing incident surfaced where a woman jumped from a flyover in front of her husband after engaging in a heated argument. The incident took place in Kamrangaguri adjacent to Uttar Kanya in Siliguri. The woman identified as Supriya Roy has been admitted to North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH) and is stated to be in critical condition.
As per the details gathered, Supriya lives with her husband Pradip Dey at her father’s house located in Sipahi Para. Pradip Dey works as an e-rickshaw (toto) driver by profession.
Reportedly, on Thursday afternoon, while travelling by the toto, the couple engaged in a heated argument over an issue. Subsequently, the woman jumped from the flyover in the Kamrangaguri area. Promptly, she was rescued and admitted to NBMCH in a blood-soaked condition.
