Rajganj, 22nd March: A mother and daughter have gone missing after leaving home on a scooty on the pretext of going to the bank. The missing woman has been identified as Chinu Roy (37) and her daughter Arpita Roy, (7) a resident of Futkipara village in Rajganj.
According to the family, on March 17 afternoon, Chinu left home with her younger daughter in a scooty to go to the bank. However, they did not return till midnight, the family panicked and searched for them at several places.
On March 18, after finding no trace of the duo, a missing complaint was filed at Belakoba Outpost. Even after four days, there has been no significant progress in finding them.
