Wild tusker damages house in Rajganj’s Gokulbhita village, one injured

Rajganj, 06th January: In yet another incident of wild elephant attack, an individual suffered significant injuries while escaping a wild elephant attack in the Gokulbhita village under the Binnaguri Gram Panchayat of the Rajganj block.


According to reports, residents Rajesh Oraon and Bishnu Oraon were awakened by two wild elephants wreaking havoc at midnight on Monday. The elephants had already damaged and entered their residence. The residents somehow managed to escape the attack; however, Rajesh Oraon was incidentally injured. Meanwhile, the elephants severely damaged the residence.

Following this, the wild tuskers returned to the Baikunthapur forest while the area residents were left panic-driven. Upon receiving the news, the forest officials of the Ambari Range promptly rushed to the scene. On Tuesday, Panchayat Pradhan Samijuddin Ahmed visited the area and assured to assist the affected residents.
