Siliguri, 11th May: The Chhota Fapri Nepali Primary School once again encountered elephant rampage as the kitchen window of the school has been damaged in a wild elephant raid late on Friday night. The locals stated that wild tuskers often intrude in areas near the forest and cause damage.
It is known that the area, located close to the forest, has been a frequent target of elephant attacks. Reportedly, wild tuskers wandered in search for food in several regions and subsequently broke the window of the said school.
During this, three employees were sleeping in the kitchen. Fortunately, they managed to evade harm and escape the situation. The incident has led to widespread panic in the area.
