Fulbari, 14th January: The West Bengal Nashya Shaikh Vikas Parishad will hold a mass petition on Wednesday demanding ‘Bhumi Putra’ recognition, which will be submitted to the Jalpaiguri District Magistrate.
At a press conference in Fulbari on Tuesday, members of the council’s Jalpaiguri district committee made the announcement.
Mohammad Sahensha Firdous Alam, a member of the organization, stated that on January 15, the mass petition will be presented through the District Magistrate to the Chief Minister, urging for the recognition of status and highlighting other demands. He also appealed for the participation of all residents of Jalpaiguri district in this mass petition.
