Kolkata, 30th March: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee conducted an administrative meeting, on Monday.
In the meeting, Banerjee announced that the insurance coverage for all those who are helping in this health crisis, including staff at private/government/transportation centres such as doctors/nurses/police/courier services has been increased from 5 lakh rupees to 10 lakh rupees.
The total number of positive cases in West Bengal has escalated to 22. A woman infected with COVID-19 died at North Bengal Medical College-Hospital in the wee hours of Monday, taking the death toll in West Bengal to 2.
