Siliguri, 06th June: After a resident of Siliguri’s Ward No. 12 tested positive for coronavirus on Friday, the entire ward was sanitized by the Municipal Corporation this morning.
It is to recall, a resident of the aforementioned area, with the travel history to North Dinajpur, was staying in home quarantine. After his swab test came back positive, he was immediately taken to the Matigara COVID Hospital.
Following the news, the entire ward was sanitized today under the leadership of Ward Councilor Nantu Paul. Meanwhile, the administration is constantly trying to trace the ones who had come in contact with the infected.
