Fulbari, 17th July: On the occasion of Muharram, a voluntary organization in Fulbari distributed sharbat to passers-by on Wednesday. This event took place along the Siliguri-Jalpaiguri National Highway at Murder More in Fulbari.
Kamal Hussain, a member of the organization, shared that this tradition of distributing sherbet has been ongoing since 2018. Initially, they started with about 50 members, but this year they have expanded to approximately 150 members to undertake the distribution.
The distribution began at 10 a.m. and continued until the afternoon, providing refreshment to those walking through the Fulbari area.
