Fulbari, 25th August: The members of a voluntary organization tied sacred strings of rakhi around the wrists of the Border Security Force (BSF) personnel and celebrated ‘Pre-Raksha Bandhan’ ahead of the significant festival in Fulbari. Notably, the festival of Raksha Bandhan is observed with vigor across the nation, marking the loving bond between brothers and sisters
On Friday, the women and children of the organization celebrated the festival with the BSF Jawans of the Fulbari border and expressed their gratitude to the forces for their responsibility and sacrifices towards the security of the nation. In addition, sweets were distributed among the jawans, as they observed the occasion with enthusiasm.
In this regard, the members of the organization stated that the jawans contribute to the security of the country away from their homes and families, due to which, they gathered to organize the event in an effort to encourage and express gratification to the armed forces.
