Siliguri, 13th June: Blood crisis has been reported in different places due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
A voluntary blood donation camp was organized on Sunday at Agrani Sangha premises under the initiative of Hills Foundation and with the assistance of Siliguri Terai Lions Blood Bank. The camp started at 11 am. Several people of the city donated blood during the camp.
SMC Administrator Goutam Deb was present at the blood donation camp. He handed over the certificates to the blood donors. The target of collecting 50 units of blood has already been met. The collected blood will be sent to Terai Blood Center.
