Alipurduar, 31st August: The students of Vivekananda College, Alipurduar staged a sit-in protest in front of Dooars Kanya demanding exemption of admission fees.
It has been learned that a few days ago, the students of Vivekananda College joined the road blockade demanding exemption of fees. On Tuesday, the students once again demonstrated in front of Dooars Kanya.
The students said that the financial condition of every family is very pitiful especially due to the lockdown. “We demand waiver of all fees including the admission fee,” they said.
