Bagdogra, 04th August: Ram Mandir Bhoomi Puja in Ayodhya will be observed tomorrow, August 05. Ram devotees in Siliguri, as well as across the world, are enthusiastically preparing for the historic event.
Amidst the joyful celebration, a rally was taken out in Bagdogra on behalf of the Vishva Hindu Parishad, on Tuesday. But the situation took a different turn when the police intervened and stopped the rally shortly after it began.
Condemning the move, the agitated members of the organization staged a sit-in protest on the spot. As the tension boiled up, several protestors were detained by the police in the incident.
