“Utsarg 41” Mega Blood Donation Camp and Health Check-up Camp organized by Siliguri Police Station

Siliguri, 13th May: Siliguri Police Station, in collaboration with the Siliguri Terai Lions Blood Bank, successfully organized the “Utsarg 41” mega blood donation camp and health check-up camp, on Saturday. The event was graced by Siliguri Police Commissioner Akhilesh Kumar Chaturvedi as the chief guest. He inaugurated the camp by lighting the ceremonial lamp. 


The 41st Utsarg Blood Donation Camp, organized by Siliguri Metropolitan Police, commenced with great enthusiasm. Police personnel from the Siliguri police station actively participated in the blood donation drive. The collected blood will be sent to the Siliguri Terai Lions Blood Bank.

Addressing the gathering, Police Commissioner Akhilesh Kumar Chaturvedi highlighted the critical shortage of blood during the summer season. He emphasized the importance of such initiatives and the necessity for sustained efforts to meet the demand for blood. The 41st camp organized by Siliguri Police Commissionerate will continue its operations until June, ensuring an extended period for individuals to contribute to this noble cause.
