Phansidewa, 24th October: A shocking incident surfaced from the Boropathu village of the Jalas Nijamtara area where a body of an unidentified man was recovered from a waterbody.
Reportedly, on Thursday, a group of people passing by the waterbody noticed a foul smell emanating from the area. Upon investigating, they found the lifeless body and immediately alerted the Phansidewa police.
Authorities arrived promptly at the scene and subsequently transported the body to the North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH) for autopsy. The police are currently engaged in establishing the identity of the deceased and have initiated an investigation to determine how the body ended up in the water.
