Jaigaon, 28th June: Several elderlies arrived at the Jaigaon Primary Health Center in Alipurduar district, today, to receive their second dose of COVID-19 vaccine. However, due to the unavailability of the vaccines, they had to return home without their shots.
The elderlies alleged that three months have passed since their first dose of the vaccine, yet they have not received their second dose. They expressed outrage over the inconvenience and alleged that even the health workers are not well informed regarding the restocking of the vaccine.
