Siliguri, 03rd May: Two persons sustained injuries in a head-on collision between two vehicles on the National Highway adjacent to Bagdogra Airport, today. Reportedly, a four-wheeler heading towards Siliguri from Bagdogra airport collided with another four-wheeler coming from the opposite direction, causing both vehicles to overturn. The drivers of both vehicles suffered serious injuries and were immediately rescued by locals, who rushed them to Bagdogra Primary Health Center for medical attention.
The incident led to a traffic jam in the area, which was later resolved after the arrival of Bagdogra police, who removed the damaged vehicles from the road. Police have initiated an investigation into the accident to determine the cause of the collision.
