Rajganj, 15th November: Five people were injured in two consecutive road accidents, on Monday. The incident surfaced from the Bandhunagar area of Siliguri-Jalpaiguri National Highway in Rajganj block.
According to local sources, a freight pick-up van rammed into a passenger auto from behind and the auto then overturned. 3 passengers were injured and rushed to North Bengal Medical College and Hospital.
Meanwhile, two other youths were injured in another accident that took place in the same area after 30 minutes. However, no one could say exactly how the accident happened. The two injured were rescued and sent to the hospital. The Ambari outpost police have started an investigation into the whole incident.
