Rajganj, 04th June: After a woman and her child from the Siliguri Shaktigarh area tested positive for COVID-19, locals alleged that the patient’s husband, who currently is staying at a bhawan in Fulbari barrage area, interacted with their family residing in the same building. The members of the family further roamed around the locality and interacted with several other people.
The agitated residents of the area, on Thursday, expressed outrage over the issue and staged a protest outside the building demanding to keep all the people in another quarantine center.
Upon receiving the news, the NJP police reached the spot shortly after and brought the situation under control.
