Rajganj, 17th February: A tragic incident surfaced from the Mantadari village of Rajganj block where two individuals returning home from work on a motorcycle were killed in a road accident. The deceased have been identified as Dipankar Roy and Bapi Roy.
As per reports, on Friday night at around 9 PM, the two were boarded on a motorcycle and were heading home from work when the two-wheeler lost control and crashed into a roadside electric pole. As a result, both individuals were knocked out of the vehicle and were severely injured.
Later, with the assistance of locals and police, both were rescued and transported to the North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH) where the doctors declared them dead. The incident has led to an atmosphere of mourning in the area. The matter is undergoing further investigation by the officials of the Bhorer Alo police station.
