Fulbari, 25th October: Two individuals were injured in a collision between two trucks at night on the Siliguri-Jalpaiguri National Highway, near Radharbari in Fulbari.
The incident occurred around 3 AM when a bamboo-laden truck traveling from Guwahati towards Haryana collided with a coal-laden truck parked on the side of the highway. The impact severely damaged the front of the bamboo truck. Both the driver and the assistant driver of the bamboo truck sustained injuries and were promptly rescued and sent to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Following the incident, NJP police and the Fulbari Highway Traffic Post arrived at the scene to assist in the recovery of the vehicles. The incident is currently under further investigation.
