Siliguri, 11th January: A powerlifting competition will be organized by the Darjeeling District Power Lifting Association on January 17th and 18th. The competition will be held at the Terapanth Bhawan on Siliguri’s SF Road.
At a press conference in Siliguri Journalists Club, today, the Secretary of the Association, Akhil Biswas, stated that a total of 160 men and women from eight districts of North Bengal will participate in the competition.
There will be a total of three categories for men, women, and coaches. He further informed that he will hold discussions with the administration for the national level competition in the coming days.
