Siliguri, 25th October: Two Congress leaders from Uttar Pradesh left the party and joined Trinamool Congress, on Monday. Rajesh Pati Tripathi and Lalitesh Pati Tripathi joined TMC in Siliguri in the presence of Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and Abhishek Banerjee.
The duo joined the party outside Uttar Kanya today. Following this, Trinamool supremo Mamata Banerjee said “Trinamool Congress is a national party. Many more will come here. We want to strengthen the federal structure.”
