Cooch Behar, 24th June: In a significant development, the police recovered bomb-making materials, including live bombs, in the Morbhanga Adabari area of Sitai constituency in Cooch Behar district. Two individuals have been apprehended in connection with this case. The arrested suspects have been identified as Santosh Das and Surat Das.
According to reports, Sitai police station conducted a raid at Santosh Das’ residence on Saturday afternoon based on a tip. During the operation, the police discovered three live bombs, as well as various bomb-making materials, inside the house. As a result, Santosh Das was arrested along with his accomplice, Surat Das, in connection with the incident. The police are currently conducting a thorough investigation into the entire matter.
