Two arrested for duping people on pretext of providing Army job in Siliguri

Siliguri, 30th April: On Thursday, Bagdogra police together with the Army arrested two for duping people on the pretext of providing them jobs in the Army. The accused Rakhi Bishwakarma has been arrested from Putimari under Bagdogra and Ajay Toppo from Gossaipur More. Following the arrest, many important details have come before the police.


It is to be noted about two months ago, the Army Intelligence Department arrested two people who were also tricking people for jobs. The Army and Intelligence Department later joined the investigation after the Bagdogra police station caught two more members of the gang.

According to the information, the said gang was very active in the crime. Many cases of fraud were also reported from Bagdogra and nearby tea garden areas. In regard to this, a complaint was lodged at the Bagdogra police station. While investigating the case, Bagdogra police arrested Rakhi Viswakarma and Ajay Toppo.


As per the report, both the accused were produced in Siliguri court, on Friday. Meanwhile, the police appealed to the court for police remand of both accused for further investigation.
