Naxalbari, 04th February: Trinamool Congress (TMC) extended support to voters attending the SIR hearing in Naxalbari on Wednesday.
Darjeeling district TMC leaders distributed food to voters who had come to attend the hearing at Hatighisa Gram Panchayat, Maniram Gram Panchayat, and the BDO office. Despite standing in line from morning until afternoon, many voters grew hungry, and TMC workers ensured they received food.
The distribution was overseen by Siliguri Mahakuma Parishad Sabhadhipati Arun Ghosh, along with several party leaders.
Arun Ghosh said that Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee is fighting the case in the Supreme Court today, highlighting voters’ grievances. He added that as supporters of the Chief Minister, they are ensuring that voters attending the hearing are taken care of.
