Kaliaganj, 05th February: The Kaliaganj Trinamool Congress held a humanitarian program in opposition to the Citizenship (Amendment) Act (CAA), National Register of Citizens (NRC) and National Population Register (NPR).
The programme commenced at the Vivekananda More in Kaliaganj and concluded at the Sukanta More. The newly elected Trinamool Congress MLA of Kaliaganj Tapan Dev Singh, Kaliaganj Trinamool Congress president and Kalianganj Municipality chairman Kartik Chand Pal and many other dignitaries were present.
Kartik Chandra Pal (chairman of Kaliaganj municipality) stated that such an initiative has been taken under the leadership of the State Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.
